Roses
We recognize this place, we cherish it, but mostly it haunts us.
The executioner.
The wiseman now forgotten.
The spurned hero lost in a new world.
The besieged emperor.
The transandentalist.
The prophet.
The cavalier.
The rogue assassin.
The stealth bandit.
BROTHERS IN ARMS
Is it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?
There is nothing left to do but win.

Johnny, I only hope you found some solace in Breaston getting a touchdown on one of his last plays of his career. I thought that was a fantastic sendoff, and if nothing else, gave me a temporary distraction and something to be proud of.
As I sat quietly in the Rose Bowl watching Breaston dash into the end zone - my first thought was "on his last play of Michigan football". Too little. Too late.
That Steve got to walk to midfield with Jake and LaMarr before the game started, even though he is not a captain, was one of the happiest moments I've experienced in quite some time. I guess it had nowhere to go but down from there. The fact that I'll never see him play again is numbing.
I thought that was cool too. I caught the coin flip for you.
Check out my other shots.
